Anna Zvolikevych

Official Representative of the Firm in Brussels

Anna Zvolikevych deals with the EU regulatory policy issues such as international trade, market access (goods, services and capital), WTO rules application, trade defence instruments (antidumping and safeguard measures), environment protection and climate.

Anna relies on her 12-years working experience in Brussels, including 4 years in the Mission of the Ukraine to the EU (deputy head of trade and economic mission), she has also worked in the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine (head of section for the internal market protection).

She has participated in the negotiations on the following topics:
• preparations and finalising the texts of the Association Agreement, including deep and comprehensive free trade area;
• Ukraine’s WTO accession;
• granting Ukraine the market economy status by the EU;
• opening the EU markets for the Ukrainian steel products (quota’s increase);
• compensation of the negative impact on the Ukrainian producers caused by the EU enlargement (in 2004).

Anna provided assistance to the Ukrainian producers and companies to access the EU markets in about 20 antidumping and safeguard procedures, which have been conducted by the EU, but also in a state aid case (banking sector, Austria).

She has been organising and moderating the round table discussions, conferences and debates with participation of the Ukrainian producers (steel, chemical, automotive industry, agriculture, energy, machine building) aimed to clarify the requirements, technical standards, consequences and opportunities from the integration to the EU markets.

Education:
Ukrainian Academy for Foreign Trade, Master in the International Management (2001); Sevastopol State Technical University, department for the cybernetics and computer science, engineer in systems design, specialisation in the economics and cybernetics (1999).
